Project #idk

My adventure story is going to be about volleyball match. The final match is between 2 teams from Queens, NY - Legacy vs Allstarr. The story shows the last 10 minutes of the match. The score is 22:22. Two teams want to win, but only one can win. The captain of Legacy club needs to pic either heads or tails. There is two main characters (setters from both teams) they have to made careful decisions. In the story there is a lot of different decisions like should I serve a float serve or a normal one? Should I set the ball to the middle hitter or to the outside hitter? Should I tip the ball or should I spike it as hard as I can? Should I call a time-out and scream at the players, or motivate them? At the end either Legacy or Allstarr will win the Championship by either serving, tipping, hitting the ball, or by mistake of an opponent.

1.The Legacy team captain picks a side of a coin 2.Heads. The Ref tosses the coin. 3.Tails. The Ref tosses the coin. 4.Heads. The first player from the Legacy team serves a float serve and scores. 5.Tails. The first player from the Allstarr team serves a basic serve. 6.Heads. The first player from the Legacy team misses a serve. 7.Tails. The first player from the Allstarr team serves an ace. 8.The other team still can't handle the serve. 9.The libero from the AllStarr team makes a bad pass to the setter, who can't handle the ugly pass. Legacy team serves. 10.The libero from the Legacy team makes a perfect pass to the setter. 11.The libero passes the ball to the other side of a court. 12.The next player from the Allstarr team serves a float serve, the libero saved it. 13.The Legacy coach calls a time-out. 14.Serves again an ace (Allstarr). 15.Serves (Allstarr) around the end of the court, but the libero (Legacy) saves it and passes to the setter, who said the ball to the backline, and someone hits it. 16.Another Ace and ... The Legacy wins the Champion ship scoring 3 points in a row by serving. 17.The libero (Allstarr) passes the ball to the setter who sets it to the outside hitter which touches the net. AND... Legacy won by the other team's mistake. 18.The setter (Allstarr) sets the ball to the middle hitter, who spikes it and scores another point. 19.The setter (Allstarr) sets the ball to the outside hitter, who spikes the ball and scores another point. 20.The setter (Legacy) tips the ball, which falls right on the floor. 21.The setter (Legacy) makes a double with his hands. The Allstarr player serves a basic serve. 22.The libero (Allstarr) makes a perfect pass to the setter, who makes a "quick" with the middle hitter. 23.The libero (Allstarr) passes the ball to the outisde hitter, who sets the ball to the outside, scoring 1point. 24.The setter gets the ball and tips it, Allstarr gets one more point. 25.The setter pushes the ball, the Legacy libero saves it. 26.The Legacy coach tries to motivate them 27.The Legacy coach screams at the whole team. 28.The Allstarr teams serve an ace again... ANd they won the Championship. 29.The libero (Legacy) breaks the serve, passes it to the setter who tips it. 30.The player serves a basic serve (Legacy), the libero misses the pass. 31.The Allstarr coach calls a time-out 32.Allstar libero falls on the floor to save it, the ball goes to the setter who tips it.

Synopsis

I have a lot of ideas, but I don't know which one should I use. I was thinking about creating a commercial where someone shows much cheaper ideas for Christmas. First I would put a question if people like spending a huge amount of money for gifts. Then I will put some pictures of cheaper gifts. This is my slogan "cheaper doesn't mean worse"

Also I was thinking of making a commercial related to volleyball, chocolate.

REFLECTION 6 - PROJECT #5

    We were working on project #5 many hours, every single element must have a stroke around it. In this project we had to re-draw our pictures again with vector shapes only. I had over 500 shapes in my picture (I had around 300 shapes of leaves). Initially I drew a girl, a volleyball, a house, a tree, and a bunny/dog. Then I drew more details like another side of a house, the side if the house I had to draw with darker colors because it wasn't facing the sun. Also, I added shadows to a house, dog/bunny, tree, volleyball, and to a girl. The most time to draw, took me leaves (around 3-4 periods). I had to draw a lot of little leaves and put a stroke on every single one.

    Drawing with brushes tool was much easier and faster, but it wasn't that effective as drawing with vector shapes was. When we made a mistake we could use an eraser tool (drawing with brushes). However, I got really mad when I was done with one element because I forgot to make a new layer for another thing and it was stock together (for ex. tree and a girl were drawn on the same layer but they weren't supposed to). I had to start all over again around 7 times. On the other hand, using vector shapes took us MUCH more time. The picture after using vector shapes look MUCH better than drawing with brushes. Also, when you start making a new shape, it creates a new layer so you don't have to worry about putting 10 different elements in one layer. 

     When I was doing project 5B I felt kinda like Mahdy and Mashnoon (no one knew how to do figure #5). I started doing this project late because I had to finish project 5A and I wasn't done by the end of the period, but I helped people with finding how to do this one:

When I saw this one I knew, that I have seen it before already. I realized that it was in "styles" (I saw it before when we were doing the lab with the lion), it didn't take me much time to do this one, then people started noticing that I found it and they kept asking me questions how to do it, even Mahdy and Mashnoon came to ask me how to get this. I was kinda surprised that nobody knew. The goal of project 5b was to practice using vector shapes. Project 5 was really challenging (drawing over 300 leaves is not that easy :p) 

Reflection5 - Project#4

•                   On the picture I drew, there is a big yellow house with a brown roof, a blue, yellow, and white volleyball, a girl who wears pink and purple clothes (about 10 years old), a pet (It was supposed to be a dog, not a bunny -,-), a yellow sun, and a beautiful, fall tree. The thing I liked the most is the tree. It's colorful as fall is, some leaves where falling down, and some were already on the ground. If I knew that we were going to paint our drawings, I would draw something more complex, instead of drawing what I drew. 
•                         To be able to color my drawing in without covering up the lines I had to move the background layer to the top. I had to re-draw my drawing with the pencil tool, because the lines which I drew were too light. I used the brush tool and and the eraser tool while I was doing my project. The brush tool helped me with painting the drawing, and the eraser tool erased the imperfections that I made during painting. Also, I used the history brush tool. It helped me a lot.
•                        The hardest thing to do for this project was to not to forget what layer are you painting in right now. More than 10 times I forgot that I was in the layer where grass is, and I was painting a volleyball, or I was painting the sun in a tree layer. That was the most confusing and hard thing to do for me, and I had to fix these mistakes. The easiest part was to erase the imperfections that I made during the painting my drawing. 

REFLECTION 4 - LAB#3

In our project#3 we had use a picture of someone famous, and use images to fill in who they are. I picked Justin Bieber (I don't like him to be honest),because I found a lot of things that I could use to fill in his body.. Inside the cutout I used:
- Canadian Flag, because he was born in Canada,
- French Flag, because he speaks french,
- Cotton Candy Ice Cream, these are his favorite(personally, they are too sweet for me),
- A picture of a hockey basic equipment, because his favorite sport is hockey(personally,I think that hockey sucks and volleyball rules),
- Microphone, because he is a singer(ewww more than one billion views?!?!?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kffacxfA7G4),
- Money, because he gets a lot of money(<< that's me in the future),
- Sour Patch, because these are his favorite,
- A picture of a tattoo, because he has the same one,
I didn't even need to inverse the selection as I had to cut the person out. The mask mode and paint brush  really helped me in this project.
I chose the words:
- Cute, because he donated $545,00 To AIDS Research and that's cute what he did,
- Talented, because he can sings
- Young, because he is young
- Kind, because he loves his fans(I'm not one of them)
I was really mad when I found out that I used 3 words instead of 4-5. I had to do it all over again. I think that I did a good job with a cutout.

I'm thinking of using Winnie the Pooh
I would use:
- a jar of honey
- red shirt
- forest
- a pig
- a rabbit
- an owl
- a bed
- a chateau

Reflection#3 - Project 2

In our 2nd project, We had to work in quick mask mode, and we had to use masks. In this project we had to put ourselves interacting with the original picture. Layer masks allow you to see with a short look on the layers their effect on the image. Also it allows you to combine two or more different things on one picture. You just have to switch the order.The black color represents the hidden area, the white color represents the part that can show through to the layer beneath, the red color shows you the selected areas that you picked before. 

             During this project in mask mode I used only 3 tools - a brush tool, an eraser tool and a lasso tool. I used brush tool to select the area of a picture that I wanna move somewhere else. I used the eraser tool to eliminate the imperfections of my selection in a mask mode. I used lasso tool to select the top part of my jersey, so I could change the color of this selection, and change the color of a number on my jersey (originally the number on my jersey was white, but I changed the color so it matches with other girls' jerseys). These tools really helped me, my cutout looks more realistic.

              I truly love masks more than lassos. Lasso tool requires high concentration when you are selecting, I'm not the type of a person that can keep calm. I don't need a lasso tool when I have a mask because I can always change the size of a brush and of an eraser.
